However we advise you to apply as early as possible, particularly for those courses where there is a high demand for places. Early application is also important for international applicants to allow sufficient time to obtain a student entry visa.

Postgraduate Research

There is no standard closing date. You should however check both the University’s website and refer to the relevant School/Institute webpage for information on deadline dates for postgraduate funding applications, as these will also determine when your application for admission should be submitted.

Queen's University Medical School has a long tradition of excellent medical education which is constantly updated in response to developments in medical science and practice. We aim to deliver a high quality course utilising innovative teaching methods and best practice to create a supportive environment designed to enable students to achieve their personal and academic potential.

There is a combination of course classes on this course and a number of practical learning methods including; lectures, e-learning opportunities, practicals, self-directed study and one-to-one training.

We have also launched a blended learning approach to achieving aPgCert or PgDip in Clinical Anatomy for working doctors. This involves online learning plus a two-day residential course.

All applicants must have studied human anatomy as a significant part of their undergraduate degree. If the number of applicants exceeds the course capacity, the School may undertake interviews as part of the selection process.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS
International students (for whom English is not their first language), must be able to demonstrate their proficiency in English in order to benefit fully from their studies. Non-EEA nationals must also satisfy UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) immigration requirements for English language for visa purposes. Evidence of an IELTS* score of 6.5, with not less than 6.0 in any component, or an equivalent qualification acceptable to the University is required (*taken within the last 2 years). This MSc in Clinical Anatomy aims to provide students with a greater understanding of advanced human anatomy including appropriate radiological anatomy, microscopic anatomy and embryology.

The modules presented emphasise clinically and surgically relevant anatomy, although they are not designed exclusively for clinicians, and applications are invited from any students who have studied cadaveric anatomy within their first degree.

We have also launched a blended learning approach to achieving a PgCert or PgDip in Clinical Anatomy for working doctors. This involves online learning plus a two-day residential course.
