The BTEI provides part-time Further Education programmes for young people and adults. It aims to give participants an opportunity to combine a return to learning with family, work and other responsibilities. Programmes are offered in partnership with a number of agencies throughout the country on a flexible part-time basis. Classes are offered throughout the year in the morning, afternoons, evenings or weekends. Courses lead to a range of accreditation at levels 1-6 on the NFQ.

Description
This course is suitable to applicants who want to learn new skills and get back into education. There are no fees for people in receipt of social welfare payment. The course is run as part of the Back to Education Initiative.

Career Prospects
On completion of the course, you can apply to continue your course of study on a number of QQI LEVEL 5 programmes in the College.

This course will also prepare you for seeking employment, with workshops in areas such as interview skills, CV preparation and career development. The course will also prepare you for seeking employment in the jobs market.
