• Provide students with a practical grounding in the skills required for employment in technology-oriented industries.
• Provide students with sufficient training and knowledge for progression to engineering/science courses in the institutes of technology
• Provide an opportunity for students to evaluate what career direction they wish to pursue and to assess various aspects of electronics in order to make informed career choices.

How the course is taught
GTI has developed a style of teaching to meet the demands of a diverse community of learners.
•We make extensive use of advanced multimedia and internet based technologies to bring subject matter to life and to ensure effective learning.
•We provide learning supports that are tailored to the needs of individual learners.
•Mathematics is given special mention, with use of traditional and innovative methods to ensure students attain a degree of proficiency for progression to institutes of technology.
Learners undertake a range of skills demonstrations, assignments and project based learning.
