Course Fee In general, there are two levels of fees payable. EU students from EU countries including Ireland pay a subsidised level of fees for both taught courses and research programmes. Tuition fees for students from outside the EU are not subsidised and are thus somewhat higher than for EU students.

Entry Requirements Honours primary degree. Computer competence is also required.
Applicants may be called for interview. An archives or records
placement(s), for the full duration of the programme, and under
a suitable mentor, is an integral part of this programme and
required of all students. In some cases, the work experience is
undertaken where the student is already employed or volunteers.

Course Content The programme aims to educate students to the principles that underpin the professional management of archives and records, and to equip them with the theoretical and practical skills that will enable them to work with varied formats and media in a fast-changing, international context.
Subjects Taught Course Structure
Modules include records management, archival arrangement and description, preservation, archives management, leadership and project management, the tradition and organisation of print, historical perspectives on records and record keeping in Ireland, digital humanities. Postgraduate diploma students take all taught modules except the thesis.
