Course Content Are you an avid people watcher? Are you interested in what makes people ‘tick’? If you are then this ‘taster’ course in Psychology is for you. Over eight weeks you will be introduced to the basics of the science of mind & behaviour. It is specifically directed at those who may have an interest in this fascinating subject but are not sure if they are fully able to commit to the demands or the expense of a full time course.
Subjects Taught • Development Psychology: Attachment & Separation, Cognitive development, Moral Development & Gender & Identity.
• Cognitive Psychology: Perception, Learning & Memory Processes
• Individual Differences: Intelligence & Personality.
• Social Psychology: Attraction & Love, Impression formation, Prejudice & Discrimination , Social Influence, Pro Social & Anti – Social Behaviour
• Abnormal Psychology: Mood Disorders, Anxiety Disorders, Schizophrenia.
