Our Healthcare Assistant course will provide you with a recognized qualification to work in many Healthcare environments. The course is aimed at those who have an interest in working with people in the care areas of Homecare, Nursing Homes, Long Term Residential Settings, Hospitals and Community Day Care Support Services. Students on this programme will also receive training and certification in First Aid and Manual Handling. Students on this course are assisted with work experience placements.
How will I learn? How will I be assessed?
You will have a mixture of classroom-based subjects, practicals and work placements. You will be expected to complete assignments throughout the year and exams for some modules will take place at the end of the year.
