Hide-Admission to a research degree is at the discretion of the potential supervisor and the Head of discipline and is based on a proposal from the applicant following discussion with a suitable member of staff. As part of the research degree programme the discipline may recommend attendance at Greek or Latin language classes. Candidates for a research degree should have obtained an honours degree in an appropriate subject (Second Class Honours , Grade 1 minimum).
GYB04/GYB05/GYB06/GYB07
Applicants are required to submit
◾writing sample of 5-10 thousand words
◾800 word research proposal with a brief bibliography
