Duration Part Time over 2 academic years (1 day per week over 4 semesters).
Class contact hours will normally be approximately 6 hours per week, but this will vary in some semesters.

Course Content Aims
The MA in Social Care Management aims to equip experienced social care workers with the knowledge, skills and insight required to be effective managers in social care settings. The learner is offered the opportunity to examine the practice of leadership and management in social care services, informed by an analysis of wider management theory, in order to develop appropriate management competencies.

Assessment Method The majority of the course is assessed through continual assessment for all elements of each module. However, there are also final exams as well as continual assessment for some of the modules.
