| Entry Requirements |
Students should have an interest in computing and a level of education to the Leaving Certificate or its equivalent. This should include Mathematics. The college also will consider applications from mature students who do not meet these requirements. This course may also suit applicants with suitable transferable skills who are seeking a conversion course to IT. |
| Careers or Further Progression |
The IT sector and smart economy is the fastest growing job sector at the moment. This course offers FETAC Level 5 certification which is a qualification in its own right, or can provide a pathway to Level 6 qualification here at Pearse College or Level 7 or 8 in the Institutes of Technology.
