QQI (Quality & Qualifications Ireland) is the national awarding body for further education and training in Ireland. The Open College is registered with QQI to offer programmes leading to QQI awards in the National Framework of Qualifications in Ireland.
Course Content This QQI Level 5 Understanding Special Needs module is designed to give learners an understanding of the context of special needs, associated issues with special needs and approaches to ensuring the needs of children with special needs are met.

Learners will gain broad knowledge of a range of special needs, the cause, treatment and interventions also.
