The focus of the programme is on managing tourism operations and marketing tourism, It is an ideal course for those interested in working in the wholesale or retail tourism, travel, leisure or hospitality industries. |

There are no tuition fees payable to the College by EU nationals. However, learners are liable for registration fees, examination fees, and for some courses, materials fees. Registration fees vary depending on programme choice. Applicants will be informed of individual programme fees and possible exemptions at interview. |
| Financial Support |
Means-tested Maintenance Grants are available to qualifying learners. These grants are administered by Learner Universal Support Ireland (SUSI) through www.Learnerfinance.ie. All applications must be made on-line. The College has a Grants Officer, who will advise applicants, as necessary. |

Interviews will be held in May and places will be offered at that stage. Interviews will also be held in late August to fill anyremaining places. Therefore, early application is advisable. |

• Applicants must hold a QQI Level 5 Award in the chosen area.
• Mature learners (over 23) or persons displaying ability in this area may be exempt from the above academic requirements.
• In addition applicants will have to undertake an interview. |

Employment / Progression Opportunities
• Direct employment both at supervisory and managerial levels in the Travel and Tourism industry, e.g. Tour Operator, Travel Agency, Cabin Crew, Airport Ground Operations, Resort/Spa Manager, Cruise Operations and Reservations Agent.
