Entry Requirements A suitable Level 2 qualification in Gym Instructing. The course requires physical exertion and individual participation is essential, therefore a degree of physical fitness is necessary. There is also an element of communication (discussing, presenting, reading and writing) and numeracy involved in this course and learners should have basic communication skills and the ability to apply numbers pitched at levels 3 and 2 respectively.

* The Certificate in Personal Training is a Level 3 qualification on the UK Qualifications and Credit Framework (Level 4 on the European Qualifications Framework).
