This postgraduate diploma will provide the students with the necessary knowledge/skills to avail of a variety of employment opportunities in the community. Graduates of the programme should be in a position to make a positive contribution to service users and carers lives.
On successful completion of this Postgraduate Diploma, you may progress to the one year research based Master of Health Sciences programme (see details on page 10). In order to be eligible you will require an aggregate of 60% in your Postgraduate Diploma. Those who possess a Postgraduate Diploma in Community Mental Health would graduate with a Master of Health Sciences (Specialist Nursing).
