Hide-A range of ITEC diplomas are offered in year 2 of Complementary Medicine. A prerequisite for eligibility for these ITEC diplomas requires success in the Diploma in Holistic Massage in year 1. A Diploma in Tuina Acupressure is also on offer, the Certificate in year 1 is a requirement for this.
The Diploma in Tuina is awarded by Active Health who are affiliated with Beijing University of Chinese Medicine, the World Health Organisation’s representative for traditional medicines. Click here for the Active Health web site.
The Diploma allows our graduates to participate in advanced clinical training in China, in the affiliated hospitals of Beijing University of Chinese Medicine.
Graduates can also apply for credit towards an acupuncture practitioner qualification in Ireland. Past graduates entered this prestigious training programme in year two, receiving a one year credit for past learning.
The main purpose of the ITEC accredited Level 3 Diploma in Yoga Teaching is to enable Learners to gain the necessary practical skills and knowledge to provide Yoga Teaching to the general public and gain employment within the Fitness Industry. This course is a 210 hour Teacher Training course, with extensive student practice, practical exams, and application of Yoga theoretical framework to enable the learner to teach Yoga classes.

Allocation of part-time places in any subject depends on places being available after the allocation of full-time places to students in good standing with the college. A waiting list is kept for part-time places and will be considered in late September.
