Course Fee In general, there are two levels of fees payable. EU students from EU countries including Ireland pay a subsidised level of fees for both taught courses and research programmes. Tuition fees for students from outside the EU are not subsidised and are thus somewhat higher than for EU students.

Entry Requirements At least a 2.2 undergraduate degree in any subject is required. No prior knowledge of accounting required. Students who achieve a grade of 2.1 or better for the year may proceed to the 1 year MA in Accounting. For international students whose first language is not English, an English language exam certificate showing IELTS 6.5 (or equivalent) is required.

Course Content This is a one year full time programme designed for honours graduates who may not have taken major accounting specialisms in their undergraduate studies, but who wish to pursue a professional accounting qualification.
Subjects Taught Course Structure
Modules include management and cost accounting, law and governance, taxation and VAT, financial accounting and business law and legal process.
Careers or Further Progression Careers
Careers in accountancy include careers in professional practice, industry, regulatory agencies, NGOs and government services.
