Financial Support FE Student Grants
The Department of Education and Science has introduced a maintenance grant scheme for Further Education students. Application forms are available online at www.susi.ie.
A member of staff is responsible for helping students with their grant enquiries.
Interview 1st Round In March/April, 2nd in Mid-May, Late Applicants in Late August and early September.
Application Date Applications are welcome from 1st December of the year preceding the course start year.

Interviews are then held at regular intervals from the following March onwards. First round of interviews will take place during March/April. Second round interviews will take place in mid-May. Late applications will be interviewed when the Leaving Certificate Examinations are finished or in early September.

Mature Entry Places Mature applications welcome
Entry Requirements Students who have reached a Leaving Certificate or Leaving Certificate Applied standard are invited to apply. Mature students without formal qualifications but who have relevant experience may also apply.

Admittance to the course will depend on satisfying an interview board of the candidates suitability.

Garda clearance will operate for students on any course dealing with children or vulnerable adults.
Careers or Further Progression Graduates of this course would be able to seek employment in the following areas: computer operatives, administration, sales, secretarial work and technical support.

Graduates may also avail of the opportunity to further their education by gaining entry to various Institutes of Technology in Ireland to study on High certificate and Degree level programmes.
