Dressmakinq an Introduction
Suitable for beginners,
This course covers the following:
Setting up, threading and usage of a domestic sewing machine.
Taking body measurements.
Cutting a simple commercial paper pattern (e.g skirt).
Construction of a simple garment - sewing seams, inserting a zip, hemming, hand stitching, darts and pressing.
We also look at simple alterations. |
