Hide-This full time PLC (Post Leaving Cert) course facilitates the learner to explore fine art concepts and subject areas that are of interest to them. We provide a range of complimentary modules that provide an integrated approach to learning. This creates a confidence in the learner to further develop their own personal creative skills and concepts. Practical workshops are tailored to equip each individual with the skills to either continue in independent professional practice or to progress to Third Level study. This provides the learner with the opportunity to acquire the knowledge and competence to work autonomously and independently in a fine art context. Through a combination of both tutor lead and self-directed learning this is achieved. Each student has their own studio space and storage, with specialist staff who teach their own specialisms. Guest speakers from the art world are invited in to talk to and meet with the students. We also include field trips to galleries and other course related trips as part of the academic year.

Hide-If you intend pursuing a Post Leaving Certificate (PLC) course in this college you may be eligible for a grant.
S.U.S.I.
A new ONLINE ONLY grant applications system was introduced in 2012. All new applications must be made online to the single awarding authority, Student Universal Support Ireland (SUSI).
When can I make my grant application?
You should apply for it as soon as possible. Remember, you do not have to wait until you receive an offer of a place. Only when your application has been completed in full and submitted to the SUSI can your eligibility be determined.
How do I register to make an application?
Go to the following websites www.studentfinance.ie or www.grantsonline.ie
To make an application all you have to do is click on the SUSI icon on the student grant page and register your personal details. You will need your PPS number and an e-mail address. This e-mail address can only be used for one registration/application as it will be a contact reference for interaction with SUSI. You will be asked to input a password, again select one that you can remember as you will be unable to access your online application without it.
