Course Content This course is designed to cater for a broad spectrum of sports and leisure related activities. Graduates may seek a career in leisure, personal training, coaching, community and local authority based work and a range of careers in tourism and related fields. Practical aspects of the course take place in the University of Limerick Sports Arena. Facilities include 50m pool, aerobics studio, large well-equipped gymnasium and four full sized sports halls.

Careers or Further Progression Students who attain the minimum entry requirements may progress to PE teaching at UCC and Institute of Technology Tralee. Students may progress to study Sports Strength and Conditioning or Social and Community Studies at Limerick Institute of Technology and many courses in IT Colleges nationwide.
