| Course Content |
This workshop explores the impact of loss through death and illness on children. The impact of loss will be addressed in relation to child development and family coping stratagies. Use of video, children’s art and materials will be included. |
| Learning Outcomes |
On completion of the workshop participants will be able to:
• understand the importance of developmental stages in loss;
• reflect on the emotional impact of working with grieving children;
• learn skills in the use of materials;
• develop skills in determining levels/and appropriate response/ to child’s response to loss. |
