Financial Support FE Student Grants
The Department of Education and Science has introduced a maintenance grant scheme for Further Education students. Application forms are available online at www.susi.ie.
A member of staff is responsible for helping students with their grant enquiries.
Interview 1st Round In March/April, 2nd in Mid-May, Late Applicants in Late August and early September.
Portfolio A portfolio should demonstrate an ability to draw.
Observational drawing with colour application must be presented at interview.
3D work, sketchbooks, and ideas books can also be included.
Application Date Applications are welcome from 1st December of the year preceding the course start year.

Interviews are then held at regular intervals from the following March onwards. First round of interviews will take place during March/April. Second round interviews will take place in mid-May. Late applications will be interviewed when the Leaving Certificate Examinations are finished or in early September.

Mature Entry Places Mature applicants are invited to apply.
Entry Requirements Applicants must be at least 17 years of age, have reached Leaving Certificate standard.

Entry is by interview and portfolio assessment.

The portfolio should demonstrate an ability to draw. Observational drawing with colour application must be presented at interview. 3D work, sketchbooks and ideas books can also be included.

The incoming student should have good communication skills, initiative and enjoy working as a team.
