Aim
This course aims to introduce students to the theory of human psychology, theory of counselling and basic counselling skills. The course does not qualify participants to work as counsellors, nor as psychologists, but does provide a grounding for students who wish to pursue further training in counselling/human psychology.

The College welcomes applications from international students provided that such students satisfy all the requirements of the immigration authorities and are deemed eligible by the Department of Education and Skills to participate in our courses. We have many international students attending programmes in the college at the present time and their presence contributes greatly to the life of the college in terms of richness and diversity.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Five passes in Leaving Certificate/Applied or equivalent. Students will be selected by means of an interview and a short written essay. Mature students are welcome to apply. A limited number of VTOS places available. |
