Hide-The aim of the Web Authoring QQI Level 6 course is to train the learner how to use and build websites suitable for use in a wide variety of work settings; within a company, setting up a business or setting up and administering a local website within the community.
Learners who successfully complete the course will create an interactive website by:
- Identifying formats most suitable for use in Web Publishing regarding text, graphics, audio and video files.
- Ensuring content is accurately and clearly presented using an effective and appropriate web layout.
- Identifying internet and social media sites with the objective of targeting a potential audience.
- Promoting and marketing the website using relevant search engines, directories and other specialist facilities.
- Becoming familiar with various methods of uploading websites to a server and going live in the market place.
Learners who complete the course will obtain a QQI Level 6 Component Award along with the satisfaction of creating and building their own functional website.
Develop your own website for the workplace.
