Course Content This course allows students to acquire the necessary knowledge and skills to pursue a career in private security, the uniformed services and the following related areas: Garda Sνochαna, Defence Forces, Prison Services and Fire Services.

This course is designed to
Provide participants wishing to make a career in the private security industry or the uniformed services with a thorough grounding in the legal and practical dimensions of security.

QQI Level 5 Award in Security Studies (5M2110). This qualification is recognised by the Security Institute of Ireland.
