The Professional Doctorate in Education (EdD) TESOL, which is a combination of both taught and research elements, provides an alternative route to the PhD for mid-career and senior professionals in English language education and related disciplines. We offer a wide range of taught modules in the areas of research methods (three compulsory), TESOL (two compulsory), education policy, education management and professional development.
