Students achieving good grades during this course can apply to gain entry to Nursing Degree courses through the QQI entry system. This course provides students with a solid foundation in nursing theory and practice and allows students to accurately assess their suitability for a career in nursing. Applications are also invited from mature students wishing to pursue a career in nursing.

All applicants will be invited to an interview to ascertain their suitability for the course. Further applications are accepted over the summer months and similar interviews take place in early September for any remaining vacancies. All applicants will be notified by post as to the results of the interview.
