Whether you're a relative newbie or a seasoned amateur our Diploma in Music Production will give you the technical skills, insider insight and industry contacts to build a successful career in the music industry. The Institute offers tuition from recognised industry professionals, complete access to three fully equipped training studios and an opportunity for further study to degree level. Our Higher National Diploma in Music Production focuses on instruction in industry standard recording and production packages such as Pro-Tools, Ableton, Reason and Pure Data.
Learn the art of studio sound, mixing, mastering, synthesis, music electronics, sound design, live sound reinforcement, creative music production and post sound in one of our three recording or production rooms. Learners can avail of professional equipment including 24 Apple iMacs, Pro-Tools 10 on Custom Mac Pros, a range of MIDI controllers, 24 channel analogue and digital recording, custom live rooms, industry standard microphones such as Nuemann, Akg, industry standard monitors such as Genelec or HHB. Professional tuition, professional equipment and hands-on experience is what we offer at Bray Institute of Further Education.

A booking fee of 25 which must accompany the application.
A Resource* contribution for student services of 350.
A Government Tax of 200
Exam fees, the cost of photocopying, field trips and in some cases the cost of registration with professional bodies.
* Resource fees are used as a general fund to maintain the facilities and learning resources for PLC courses including administration and operational requirements.
Non-EU students will be required to pay the economic cost of the course as determined by the Department of Education. For further details, please contact the Institutes office.

Learners should apply to SUSI the online grant application system through www.studentfinance.ie. Learners in receipt of the Maintenance Grant must pay all the usual costs of the course.

The Department of Social Welfare and The Department of Education and skills administer these two schemes.
