Course Content This course is designed to give candidates a broad knowledge of the Holistic Approach to health and wellbeing while gaining practitioner qualifications for employment in the most popular therapies - Holistic/Swedish Massage, Hot Stone Massage, Indian Head Massage, Aromatherapy or Reflexology, Reiki, Hopi Ear Candling and Nutritional Therapy.

Alternative Entry Mature students are very welcome on all courses in O'Fiaich Institute of further Education and the number of mature students is rising steadily. Some mature students are eligible for VTOS scheme (Vocational Training Opportunities Scheme).

Entry Requirements This course is aimed at students who have completed the Leaving Certificate, Leaving Certificate Applied, Leaving Certificate Vocational and mature students.
Careers or Further Progression Career Opportunities & Progression Routes

This course will equip successful candidates with skills and qualifications for employment in locations such as Hotels, Leisure Centres, Sports and Fitness Centres, Spa's, Beauty Salons, Cruise Liners, Healing Centres and health farms. Graduates will also be equipped to set up a private practice in Holistic Therapy. There are further education progression routes to third level studies in business and spa management.
