Comment Qualification
Certificate in Electrical Systems for Mechanical Personnel (Certificate of Attendance).
Course Content Aims:
To give staff involved in a multi-skilled environment an opportunity to obtain hands-on Electrical Control System experience. The programme is particularly suited to staff who have training in a mechanical background (Fitting/Mechanical Engineering), that require electrical knowledge as part of their skill base, either from maintenance or management perspective. This is a hands-on programme with emphasis on active learning.
Subjects Taught Electrical Safety, Protection and develop fault diagnosis/repair skills, Practical electrical installation, Domestic/Commercial, Motor control circuits, Installation and commissioning, PLC control systems, Installation, Programming and Commissioning.
Assessment Method No examinations.
