There is a recognised need for a variety of qualified practitioners in the social care sector. It is worth noting that there is an identified lack of men working in this field. This Social Studies course is the ideal stepping stone to help you get to third level. A significant number of students have also gained employment in settings such as Residential Care Centres, Community Projects, Youth Centres, Centres for the Elderly/Aged, or assisting people with disabilities.
Garda vetting must be successfully completed for all courses in the Department of Health Services, Childcare & Youth Work
