Programme Overview
This top-up, 1 year full-time programme equips learners with advanced media training in the areas of radio, sound and documentary production. Work-based learning is a specific requirement of this programme. Participants gain on air experience in the College’s new broadcast media centre which provides them with “real-world” education in sync with the requirements of the radio and media industries. |

| Course Fee |
There are no tuition fees payable to the College by EU nationals. However, learners are liable for registration fees, examination fees, and for some courses, materials fees. Registration fees vary depending on programme choice. Applicants will be informed of individual programme fees and possible exemptions at interview. |
| Financial Support |
Means-tested Maintenance Grants are available to qualifying learners. These grants are administered by Learner Universal Support Ireland (SUSI) through www.Learnerfinance.ie. All applications must be made on-line. The College has a Grants Officer, who will advise applicants, as necessary. |

Interviews will be held in May and places will be offered at that stage. Interviews will also be held in late August to fill anyremaining places. Therefore, early application is advisable. |

• Applicants must hold a QQI Level 5 Award in the chosen area.
• Mature learners (over 23) may be exempt from the above academic
requirements.
• In addition applicants will have to undertake an interview. |
