Course Content This one year course provides students with a very solid foundation in animal care and grooming. On course completion students are also eligible to apply for a range of 3rd Level Veterinary Nursing courses.

Entry Requirements Applications are invited from school leavers who have completed Leaving Certificate or equivalent. Mature students, with or without formal qualifications, are also welcome to apply. All applicants will be interviewed.
Careers or Further Progression Students may find employment in the Animal Care, Veterinary Nursing and Grooming Industry. Graduates may apply to join our Level 6 course in Animal Science or apply for entry into related courses in Institutes of Technology and Universities both in Ireland and in the UK for example past students have gone on to study at UCD, DKIT, Athlone IT and Letterkenny IT.
