Entry Requirements An upper second class honours degree 2H1 or an equivalent UCD GPA of 3.2 NFQ Level 8 in literature is required.

Candidates whose first language is not English are also required to submit evidence of their English Language Proficiency. It is expected that applicants will normally have reached an overall 6.5 in IELTS with no individual band lower than 6.0, or equivalent.
Comment The course deals with the genres of poetry, drama, novel and short story, with special focus on major texts by Yeats, Joyce, Beckett and with special-subject dissertation on a topic selected by the student in consultation with a supervisor.
