English Language Requirements
Teaching in Irish Universities is normally through the medium of English, therefore all applicants are required to demonstrate a high level of competence in English language. Applicants who have not passed English as a subject in the Irish Leaving Certificate Examination must provide evidence of equivalent competence in English language through their school leaving examination or matriculation examination or by achieving the minimum standard in a recognised English language test, as outlined below.
Transcripts
An academic transcript is a document(s) provided by the academic institution where you undertake your studies. This is an official document which states all of the subjects you have undertaken during your studies and what grade you have achieved in each of those subjects, including your overall final grade if you have completed your qualification. Official or original academic transcripts are documents printed on the official headed paper of the institution where you studied and should be stamped by that institution. If this document is not in English you should arrange to have it translated.
Visa Requirements
Some students might have to get a student visa in order to come and study in Ireland. Regardless, all non EU/EEA and non Swiss citizens have to register on arrival with the GNIB.

Hide-What will I learn?
Students of the course should acquire both a strong theoretical grounding in HR management and essential analytical skills to assist them in resolving people management issues in their future career.
A capacity to interpret and critically assess the conceptual basis of industrial relations and human resource management, allied with the ability to apply such theories in practical contexts.
The ability to develop and subsequently show an understanding of the inter-relationships between personnel management, industrial relations and behavioural and human sciences.
A grasp of the social, economic and political factors that influence HR management, its role within the national and international business environment and current developments within the profession.
How will I benefit?
The accreditation and structuring of this particular Masters offers extra learning opportunities and higher guarantees of an accelerated career path upon graduation.
The MSc HRM offers 2 exchange programmes, one with the ILR School (Cornell University) and the 2nd programme is the EMLS (European Masters in Labour Studies), a network of leading European universities offering postgraduate programmes in labour studies. More details online.
• Professional accreditation – the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) - accredited option is highly regarded by employers and gives graduates from the course a competitive advantage in the workplace.
• Graduates are traditionally employed in a wide spread of sectors (private and public sector organisations, trade unions, research and consultancy) and companies (Google, Microsoft, Diageo, Accenture and PwC, amongst others).
CIPD Accreditation
The MSc in Human Resource Management is accredited by the CIPD (Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development), the leading professional body for HR managers.
