Financial Support FE Student Grants
The Department of Education and Science has introduced a maintenance grant scheme for Further Education students. Application forms are available online at www.susi.ie.
A member of staff is responsible for helping students with their grant enquiries.
Interview 1st Round In March/April, 2nd in Mid-May, Late Applicants in Late August and early September.
Application Date Applications are welcome from 1st December of the year preceding the course start year.

Interviews are then held at regular intervals from the following March onwards. First round of interviews will take place during March/April. Second round interviews will take place in mid-May. Late applications will be interviewed when the Leaving Certificate Examinations are finished or in early September.

Possible career pathways following successful completion of this course: Childcare practitioner in early years setting (progression to supervisory role very quickly). Childcare Practitioner in community based projects. Inchicore College has developed links with Institutes of Technology to support our students who wish to progress to Higher Education. Students are eligible to apply for advanced entry.
