Hide-Our Soccer Career & Development Course is about developing the skills and knowledge needed to become coaches, referees, managers and other key personnel skills for working with Junior Soccer teams. The FAI’s Kickstart 1 and Kickstart 2 programmes form part of the course which will provide students with the foundation for attaining the higher FAI coaching badges. The course has practical modules with the emphasis on obtaining a gym instructor qualification from ITEC which is internationally recognised and also provides the student with further education and workplace opportunities. There are also several theory based modules which require students to gain a deeper understanding of the various elements in the Leisure industry.

| Entry Requirements |
Experience and interest in soccer is essential. The student will be required to perform a practical interview on soccer competencies and a formal interview with the course co-ordinator. Successful completion of the Leaving Certificate is desirable but not essential. |

Successful graduates, through the Higher Education Links Scheme, may work towards a diploma or degree in nutrition, science or related areas.
