Furthermore, this course will facilitate progression to third-level Nursing and Healthcare programmes.
This course is designed to:
Combine aspects of nursing theory and practical aspects of clinical nursing experience. As a student on this one-year programme, you will gain practical experience in health-care clinical settings which, combined with an insight into theories relating to health-care provision, will enable you to deliver high standards of care with confidence. You are afforded the opportunity to explore and gain entry to the different programmes leading to registration with An Bord Altranais and the English Nursing Board (ENB). This course will also afford you the opportunity to gain entry to a variety of health-related fields e.g. Social Care, Paramedic, Childcare, Garda Siochana.
