Hide-Applications for admission to the Programme are invited from practising barristers or solicitors, graduates holding an approved university law degree or law-based inter disciplinary university degree or equivalent.
Applications will also be considered from the holders of academic and/or professional qualifications and/or proof of such experience as satisfy the School of Law that they are able to participate fully in the course and will be required to study the Introduction to Law module in advance of being admitted to the course.
Applicants should submit either work references or transcripts as proof of relevant qualifications/experience.

Hide-The syllabus is designed to provide participants with a detailed knowledge of all aspects of the law relating to employment both individual and collective.
This 30 credit Course consists of a series of 12 lectures in Semester One together with a Distinguished Guest Lecture (Employment Law I) and a series of a further 10 lectures in Semester Two together with a workshop on Dispute Resolution Machinery (Employment Law II). Students will be required to complete a dissertation by the end of each semester for which 10 credits will be applied to each. There will also be a two-hour end of year examination to which a further 10 credits will be applied. The examination, which is of two hours duration, will be held in May.
