Packed with interesting modules which explore the wonderful world of music, this programme is designed to nurture instrumentalists and singers of every level – from the complete novice to the more experienced musician. Students are given the opportunity to avail of the college recording studio and even publish their own competitions. The course enables students to follow the practical side of performance, while also providing a strong foundation in music theory.

Current Medical Card Holders (up-to-date medical cards to be presented at interview)
VTOS dispersed students
Students awarded Back to Education Allowance from INTREO
Documentation must be provided to College Office to avail of any exemptions
Recipients of the Student Grant (www.susi.ie) are exempt from the €200 Government Levy ONLY. Clear, original, up-to-date evidence must be provided to CCFE to avail of any exemption.

Any of the following would satisfy entry requirements:
Leaving Certificate/LCVP or Leaving Certificate Applied
A FETAC Level 4 qualification
Mature students (age 23+) are also welcome to apply
An ear-test is performed at interview, at which candidates will also be asked to sing or play an instrument
