Hide-This course provides learners with the technical and organisational skills required to work in the Digital Media Industry. Throughout the year, students will participate in applied learning projects where they explore various roles in a range of production scenarios. These include Animator, Designer, Camera Person, Video Editor, Sound Editor and Project Manager. In addition to this, students are encouraged to seek a two week work placement in an appropriate production role.
How The Course Is Taught
This course is delivered in the GTI sound studios and Computer Music Labs, with classroom support for theoretical aspects of the programme. Throughout the year, students are assigned projects and must also prove their competence in a number of practical skills demonstrations.
