People who are in receipt of an old age pension or in receipt of a social welfare payment are entitled to a concession. To obtain this concession the college will need a photocopy of documentation to show what payment you are on. This must be presented on registration along with your pps number. This introductory course is ideal for those looking to learn the basics of computers. It will help familiarise the learner with common computer terminology & build confidence while working with a PC using Microsoft Office. Over the 12 weeks the learner will create, format, save & print documents using Microsoft Word.
In addition to learning the more practical skills such as file management and how to send / receive emails, they will also gain the confidence to search the web for holiday deals, online shopping etc. This is the ideal course for any beginner!
