Course Content Aimed at the novice photographer who wants to understand their camera’s capabilities better and use these more confidently and creatively to explore different styles of photography. The aim is to give a solid grounding in taking better pictures and a sense of the versatility of this wonderful medium.

• Action/Sports Photography & Still Life
• Landscape & Portraiture
• Fashion & Journalistic Style/Story–telling
• Night Photography & Flash Photography

1-2 Field Trips may be scheduled during the course. An SLR (film or digital) camera is necessary to get the most from the course. Students need an SLR camera with a manual setting. Small “Point and shoot” are regrettably not sufficient for this course.
