On successful completion of this course students may apply directly for entry to degree courses in Trinity College Dublin in the Faculties of Arts and Social Sciences (BESS - Business, Economics and Social Science) and to other universities through the CAO.

From 2011, as required by government legislation, a Registration Charge of €200 (in addition to the course charge) will be payable by all Post Leaving Cert (PLC) students. There will be some exemptions and reliefs.
Contact the Admissions Office for an up-to-date listing of course charges. Candidates who are non-EU citizens should contact the College for details of entry conditions.

Students may be eligible for a means tested maintenance grant under the Maintenance Grants Scheme for students attending Post Leaving Certificate Courses. General information and application details may be obtained on www.susi.ie. You can submit your application for a Maintenance Grant once you have secured a college place.
Candidates are advised to apply for a grant as soon as they have secured a college place in order to have time to submit all documents required. |

Socio-economic: This course is for students with the ability to succeed in higher education, who have experienced difficulties or come from backgrounds which do not have a tradition of going to university. Family income must qualify the applicant to receive a third level grant and family occupation should be within an employment category which is underrepresented in higher education.
