Hide-This course is designed to give students a thorough grounding in all aspects of Equine Care. The theoretical knowledge gained in the classroom is reinforced and developed during many field trips to Equestrian Centres, Animal Grooming Parlours and Veterinary Clinics. The emphasis on ‘hands-on’ practical experience, together with the specialisation in Equine Anatomy and Physiology, equips graduates with the necessary skills for immediate employment in a wide variety of positions in the Horse Industry. The course includes ‘Start Your Own Business’ module that provides valuable insights into starting your own business and how to ‘grow’ an existing business.

All applicants must be 21 years or over to qualify
Who Qualifies for VTOS?
Adults over 21 years of age and have been receiving social welfare benefits for at least 6 months (156 days).
