Hide-Future Prospects
Currently there are approximately 72 places offered, in total, to students who successfully meet the QQI criteria for nurse training in Irish Universities. This criteria applies to all colleges who run the QQI Level 5 Introduction to Nursing Studies Course.
To maximise career opportunities for our students, Marino College has also developed strong relationships and links with UK Universities. Throughout the years we have seen many students successfully undertake their Nurse Training in the UK and Ireland. Many are now practicing in Ireland.
Many Students progress to full Nursing qualifications, whilst other find employment in the broader health care setting.
While primarily focussed on preparing students for studying Nursing at University, students who achieve the award can also work as health care assistants in hospitals and other institutions.
