Hide-Advances in computer, network, cloud and mobile technologies continue to provide job opportunities for people with IT skills and technical acumen. In Ireland, the ICT sector alone offers a multitude of work opportunities and job advancement prospects for individuals who can demonstrate and deliver a core set of ‘smart-skills’ in IT.
This course is designed to deliver learners with these important smart-skills. A key feature of the course is the combination of ‘hands-on’ learning with direct tuition in the use of industry standard diagnostic/simulation software and forensic tools (Cisco, VMWare, etc.). Learners can expect to receive a solid foundation in the fundamentals of digital systems and acquire the requisite knowledge to build, install, deploy, repair and maintain networked computer systems for use in physical, virtual and cloud-based computing environments special emphasis is placed on developing the learner's problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to help them achieve competency in all areas.
