Subjects Taught The module will cover the following major topics:
Wind resource evaluation, turbine output calculation, overview of aerodynamics of turbine operation, construction, operation and control of large and small-scale turbines, planning and grid connection regulations, environmental impact and wind farm development.
Assessment Method The module has continuous assessment worth 50% and a final exam worth 50%. It is necessary to pass both elements to achieve an award in the module.
