This workshop recognises that carers are increasingly at the forefront of delivering palliative and end of life care to patients and their families in a variety of care settings. It provides an opportunity for carers to reflect on their current practice, share experiences of good care and increase knowledge and confidence in looking after patient and families at the end of life.
The workshop is aimed at health care assistants working in a variety of care settings including hospital, community, nursing and residential homes, and domiciliary care staff.
