To enable the learner to function effectively in a modern office and acquire the knowledge of the double entry system of accounting and give them the ability to prepare final accounts from the original books of prime entry for a variety of organisations.
To facilitate the learner with the skills and techniques required to analyse and interpret accounts, and to ensure that the learner has a deep understanding of the legal and regulatory framework of accounting.
To ensure that the learner can prepare financial statements for publication including formal notes.
