Hide-Do you have an interest in learning about the rights of others? Would you like to know a little more about how the concepts behind human rights have changed over time? UCD Access and Lifelong Learning is offering you an opportunity to “taste” an exploration of What are Human rights? In this talk, we will look at definitions of human rights; their meaning and the differences between civil and political rights, economic and social rights and solidarity rights. We will use a timeline of human rights to examine how the meaning of rights changed through the centuries. This is a wonderful chance to learn more about this subject in an interactive and practical way.
